About the PI

Professional background in brief

Basudeb received his Bachelor's in Chemistry from Asutosh College, Kolkata, and a Master's in Organic Chemistry from Scottish Church College under the University of Calcutta. He received his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Subsequently, he moved to Harvard Medical School for postdoctoral research. At the same time, he worked at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as a Postdoctoral Fellow. Since December 2020, he has worked as an Assistant Professor of Biology at the Trivedi School of Biosciences at Ashoka University. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Molecular Medicine at Bose Institute, Kolkata.
